There are moments when words fall short—when what’s needed is something felt, not said. The Weathering Token was made for those moments. Designed to be carried, held, and passed on, it’s a tactile reminder of presence in the midst of uncertainty.

Hand Made in the USA

  • Each token is made from natural, non-toxic vegetable tanned leather. We use the highest quality American leather. Veg-tan leather can be molded, carved, stamped and dyed. We start by cutting each token directly from the hide and then hand stamping with our signature star and anchor.

  • The stitching holes are then punched by hand to prepare for the hand stitching. We intentionally leave the leather raw and unfinished. This allows the leather to "weather" naturally. The rough edges add another texture to the tactile experience.

  • Each token is stitched by hand using high-quality American thread. As veg-tan leather ages, it will darken, taking on a patina while the rough edges smooth over time. Nicks and scratches will develop character along the journey, unique to each holder.

Meaning and Purpose

  • North

    A star stamped at the top of the token, symbolic of the North Star. An ageless symbol of constancy and a vital tool for navigation. We use it as a reference to one's own compass or center and a reminder that action needs purpose and guidance.

  • Mooring

    The anchor is symbolic of mooring, where a vessel is secured to prevent drifting. We use it as a reference to strategic pausing when a situation seems too big, too chaotic. Let the storm pass, find North and resume the journey. -Always Forward

    For the journey, the token embodies finding a purposeful balance between action and stillness. It offers a tangible strategy for those moments when a voyage is not of our choosing, but we find ourselves at sea nonetheless.

    The Weathering Token is also available as a keychain. Made with a nautical-style solid brass anchor shackle to attach a keyring. All of our customization options are available with the keychain as well.

  • We offer custom laser engraving to make your token even more personal. Select from our collection of symbols to enhance your faith journey or inspire you. You can also have initials, an important date, or your favorite Bible verse engraved.

    We are happy to engrave both sides for you. For a more comforting and smooth surface, we suggest engraving on a single side.
