The concept of the Weathering Token was conceived from my own lived experience and a strong desire to create something meaningful for others. For those navigating a challenging moment and for the people who want to help but don't have the words, I saw a need for a quiet gesture of support.

My journey is rooted in empathy, understanding those times when no direction seems to lead anywhere. It's from this place that our small tokens of resilience were born.

I intentionally designed the token to be simple and comforting. Each is handcrafted from genuine leather, which is smooth, warm, and soft to the touch. Its bumpy threads and rough edges add depth to the tactile experience.

The leather is raw and vulnerable, so as it "weathers" with its holder, the nicks and wear develop a unique story. It can be entirely anonymous in public, stylish, fit in a pocket, and looks beautiful on a desk—a small, quiet anchor in a storm.

The "lost at sea" analogies came naturally, becoming the heart of our brand. With a North Star stamped at the top of the token and an anchor at the bottom, the visuals represent strategic travel, seeking guidance, and remembering that sometimes the best action is a temporary pause to reorient.
